Amazing Indonesia, a country filled with natural beauty and gems. On this journey explore the islands of Java, Sulawesi and Bali. On the island of Java discover ancient cultural treasures such as the temples of Borobudur and Pramabanan or the city of Yogyakarta itself and its colorful markets. On the island of Sulawesi delve deep into the highlands to learn about the Toraja culture. The trip finishes in the south of Sulawesi, in the National Park of Batimurum, one of the most surprising and unknown of this region visiting its valleys surrounded by large limestone walls, its caves that house invaluable archaeological remains and its impressive waterfalls. The Komodo National Park is one of Indonesia’s quintessential ecological destinations.

The boat trip will take us to secluded beaches to contemplate the rich underwater heritage of corals, turtles and tropical fish and not forgetting the Komodo dragons who are also part of this fascinating journey.

Tour Plan

1
Day 1
Arrival in Jakarta. Meet & greet assistance at the Jakarta International Airport. Transfer to 7FM hotel, located about 15 minutes from the airport. Check in and relax at the hotel.

Day 2
Transfer to the airport and flight to Yogyakarta. Visit the Hindu villages of Prambanan, dating from the 8th and 10th centuries. (Optional transfer to a restaurant located in front of the temples (not included) After sunset, transfer to the hotel.

Day 3
Breakfast City tour of Yogyakarta and visit the Sultan palace, The Water Castle, Bird Market and Kotagede Village. Visit to Borobudur hindu temple (World Heritage), one of the largest temples in the world, built between 760 and 825 ad and abandoned in the fourteenth century during the conversion of Indonesia to Islam. Lunch at a local restaurant. Transfer to the airport and flight to Makassar, arrival and transfer to the hotel.

Day 4
After breakfast at the hotel the journey continues on the "transulawesi" road towards the Torajas region. Visit the typical Bugis villages that inhabit the entire south of the island, known for their building skills of "phinisi" boats and for their houses built on pillars. A stop off for lunch at Pare Pare with a magnificent tropical landscape. Before arriving to Tana Toraja another stop off to have a drink at the viewpoint of the "Erotic mountain". The journey between Makassar and Toraja is about 7-8 hours by car including stops. Meals included: breakfast - lunch.

Day 5 & 6
During the next few days the journey continues to the Torajas region, with its traditional villages and houses in the shape of a ship's hull (Kete y Palawa). Toraja’s culture is one of the best preserved in Indonesia. Visit the mountain area of ​​Batutumonga and trek for about two hours through small villages and see how the Toraja’s live in the mountains. Optional: rafting down the Maulu River and visit the Toraja region by motorcycle accompanied by a guide Meals included: breakfast, lunch.

Day 7
After breakfast transfer to airport for flight to Surabaya. Arrive and transfer to the hotel. Meals included: Breakfast, lunch.

Day 8
Breakfast at the hotel. Transfer to the Bromo volcano, considered one of the largest active volcanoes in Indonesia. Transfer to the hotel and lodging. Before , a stop at the waterfall of Madakaripura (accessible only from certain hotels)

Day 9
At 04:00 in the morning climb the volcano Penanjakan, whose height is 2770 metres, walking through a huge crater to see the sunrise at the top. Then we will descend again to the crater of Mount Bromo to ascend this time with horses for "the route to heaven". When you reach the top you can see the active volcano, fumaroles, gases expelled to the outside. Back to the hotel.

Day 10
Transfer to the base of the volcano where a 60-90 minute walk begins to the ring of the Kawah Ijen, one of the most spectacular craters on the planet. See how the sulfur left inside the earth's crust in the form of gas crystals in rocks in contact with the outside. At noon go back to Ketapang again to take the ferry to Gilimanuk. Arrival in Bali and transfer to the hotel Optional: excursion the "blue fire" made during the early morning to contemplate an incredible natural phenomenon: the flames of an intense blue color that come from the interior of the earth.

Day 11
Transfer to Denpasar airport (Bali) from your hotel. Flight to Labuan bajo (Flower Island). Arrival and transfer by road to the port to start the boat trip on a traditional Indonesian wooden boat. Before starting the navigation the boat will stop at some of the virgin beaches formed by the remains of corals found in these waters for surface diving. Visit the Rinca or Mesa towns, known as gypsies of the sea due to their traditions of semi-nomadic sailors navigating the waters of the Indonesian archipelago with their small boats. Overnight on the boat in front of Flying Foxes Island, where every afternoon thousands of bats of almost half a meter in length leave in search of food to the nearby Flower Island. Overnight on the boat, in a private cabin perfectly equipped with mattresses, sheets or without cabin depending on the option chosen. Breakfast, lunch and dinner included. Day 12
After breakfast sail to Rinca Island. Arrival and visit the legendary Komodo dragons, an endemic species, considered to be the largest lizard in the world . A guided tour will take place in Komodo National Park accompanied by a guide. In the afternoon the navigation continues stopping in front of some of the virgin beaches for snorkeling. At Makassa point you can swim next to the big manta rays. Meals included: breakfast, lunch and dinner.

After breakfast take a walk around Komodo Island to see another point where the dragons live. A visit to some of the villages located on the island next to the Komodo National Park. In the afternoon the navigation continues to the port of Laubuan Bajo stopping before (if the weather and the conditions of the sea allow it) on the Kanawa Island Arrival at to the city and transfer to the hotel.[:es]After breakfast take a walk around Komodo Island to see another point where the dragons live. A visit to some of the villages located on the island next to the Komodo National Park.
